Nigerian visa applicants heading to the United States must now comply with stricter procedural requirements starting April 22.

The U.S. Embassy in Abuja and Consulate in Lagos have both announced that any mismatch between the barcode on the DS-160 form and the one used to book an interview will result in applicants being turned away.
